作為課題負責人完成國家自然科學基金、高校訪問學者基金、博士后基金、國家863項目、國家十二五支撐計劃項目、教育部重大項目等20余項,橫向課題50余項。編譯專著2部。在國內外核心期刊上發表論文100余篇,SCI收錄10篇,EI收錄40余篇。申報和參與申報發明和實用新型專利200余項,已授權發明專利21項、實用新型專利5項、軟件著作權3項。指導博士后、博士生、碩士生90余人。研制的藥房自動化系統、碼垛機器人、焊接機器人、機器人磨削拋光加工系統、飛機起落架性能試驗臺、火電廠輸煤程控系統、水泥生產成套設備和污水處理DCS控制系統、智能化立體停車庫、電動密集架均已實現工程應用,其中碼垛機器人已達到國內領先水平;藥房自動化系統2012年部級鑒定為國際領先水平。
